Youth Innov8ors
Youth Innov8ors is an industry-supported program designed to equip
students with industry-relevant technical skills, bridging the gap
between school-based curriculum learning and practical application. It
serves as the third pipeline in the school-level business and STEM
initiation programs and is aimed at preparing students for the future.
The program was piloted at Gladstone State School during Term 1 of 2021,
with community partnerships including Gladstone State High School,
Trinity College, NBN, and GAWB. By identifying and nurturing talented
individuals, Youth Innov8ors not only helps to develop the workforce of
the future, but also promotes the growth of prospective startups and
entrepreneurs. The program is a valuable resource for retaining skilled
individuals within the region.
